Hi, everybody, it's Mary with Rusty's Reading Remuda, I know I have not been on social media for quite a while, I've been struggling, as I'm sure some of you have, with the things going on there. But it occurred to me that my word for the year, my theme word was TRUE and I have to stay true to who we are and to myself, which means I can't stop speaking up for who we are, what we believe in and what we do.
And so I will continue to do that and I will be back on here. And I just have two quick fun announcements. I will be in Rapid City starting Friday, January 30 through Saturday, February 6th for the Black Hills Stock Show. And I'm so excited I can't wait to be around people again. And and I feel like life in South Dakota might be a little more normal than some of us have been experiencing. My other big news and very exciting news is our newest book, The Heart of a Cowgirl, available now in our online store.
And it is it's about our heart. It's about our trueness.
It's about being a Proverbs 31 woman. It's about being clothed with dignity and laughing at the future because we know it's in God's hands. And my daughter's illustrations. For those of you that don't know, my daughter illustrates the books. They are amazing in this book.
It has her favorite horse in it, Gunner, and it just talks about the character and the heart of a cowgirl. And of course, it rhymes as usual.
And the little white dog on every page is her dog. You guys are absolutely going to love this book. On the back, it says, Cowgirl is a spirit and attitude. The choice of a life lived with courage, conviction, faith and intention. Cowgirls wish on stars and dandelions, but then get to work to make them happen. They trust that all things work together for the good of all. As you read about the cowgirl, may the words encourage you to keep saddling up and roping your dreams.
And even more exciting, we have Gunner the horse available for sale. Now, he will just be at the Stock Show this week. I don't have him online yet because of course, we're behind and I need to get him on the website. So any of those of you who want to order him, you're going to have to wait until he becomes available on there and we get a little bit caught up.
